This schedule is a general approach, and it may be adapted by your healthcare professional depending on:

How your skin is improving

Whether or not you experience any troublesome side effects

If your side effects are not troublesome, your healthcare professional will increase your dose until your condition is well controlled. If you experience side effects after an increase in dose, your healthcare professional may recommend you temporarily return to the previous dose.

Generally, the response to treatment may be seen as early as week 3 and normally improves over time.

If your psoriasis signs and symptoms are well controlled, your healthcare professional may gradually reduce the dose you take to maintain your improvement whilst ensuring you take the lowest dose you need.

Remember to carefully FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS and to contact your healthcare professional if you have any questions regarding your treatment.

Be aware that it may take some weeks before you see the benefits of treatment, so it is recommended that you continue with the treatment unless your healthcare professional advises you to stop.

It is recommended that you write down what tablets your healthcare professional has said you need to take, and when, in your Skilarence planner to help you remember your schedule as it may change frequently during the first few months.
